Being eye-level with the ground gives a different perspective to the world around. As a kid I used to build tiny living spaces and doors in the nooks of trees and stones I imagined fairies, tiny people or an odd cockroach might want to live in. Now older, and with less flexible joints, I have made these little houses that can easily be placed in the backyard or in a plant pot. For me it is a delightful reminder of my childhood fancies.
